What to Expect

Our Introductory Sessions are designed to give you the best possible start with Pilates.

You’ll be guided through an equipment-based workout tailored to your body, needs and goals by an accredited instructor with over 20 years of Pilates experience.

We’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates, show you how to move safely and effectively, and explain how we can support your progress.

You’ll leave feeling confident, informed, and ready to take the next step.

Introductory Private Pilates Sessions (Max 2 people)

If you’re starting Pilates after an injury, health concern, or professional recommendation, or you’d simply prefer a more private experience, our introductory one-to-one or duo sessions, are ideal.

You work with one of our experienced Lead Instructors, Sam or Glenn, who will tailor the session to your specific needs, help you feel comfortable with the equipment, and build confidence in your technique.

This is the most personalised way to begin your Pilates journey.

Introductory Group Pilates Classes (Max 4 people)

Curious about joining our group classes? Our small-group intro class is the perfect way to get started.

With a maximum of 4 people, you’ll receive focused guidance while experiencing the social side of Pilates. We’ll cover the basics, introduce you to the equipment, and help you feel at ease in a group setting, so you can progress confidently into our regular classes.

Introductory Pilates FAQs

Do I need to book an introductory session before joining other Pilates classes?

Yes. All new clients must complete an introductory Pilates session before attending group or private classes, even if you have taken Pilates classes before.

This ensures you are confident with the equipment and moving safely, and allows us to get to know you, your requirements and your preferences, so we can tailor future sessions around you.

Are your introductory Pilates classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, our introductory Pilates classes are designed specifically for beginners who are completely new to Pilates or Reformer equipment.

You'll learn the fundamentals of posture, breathing, and core control in a calm, encouraging environment, so you can move forward with confidence.

What can I expect in my first Pilates class?

Your first Pilates class will be an introduction to the Reformer machine and some simple exercises to show how we can help gently strengthen and stretch the body.

We want you to feel comfortable, so expect a supportive atmosphere, expert instruction, and a focus on safe, effective movement.

Do I need to bring equipment or special clothing?

We provide all equipment, including the Reformers and any props used during the class. All you need is comfortable, fitted activewear and socks with grips to help you move safely on the Reformer equipment.

How do I book an introductory Pilates class?

You can easily book introductory classes through the website and pay securely online. Alternatively, please feel free to call or contact us with any questions you may have.
